Severin Films is bringing Maniac (2012) to 4K for the first time. Directed by Franck Khalfoun and produced by Alexandre Aja and William Lustig, this is the POV slasher remake that divided and defined modern horror — and it’s finally getting the UHD treatment it deserves. Starring Elijah Wood, Nora Arnezeder, America Olivo, Liane Balaban, and Jan Broberg.
The release is a two-disc set — 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray — scanned in 4K with HDR, audio commentary with Khalfoun, Wood, and executive producer Alix Taylor, plus over 3 hours of new and archival special features covering the entire Maniac legacy including interviews, making-of docs, and franchise deep dives.
